Jennifer was born in Hawaii and raised in Alaska and Washington State, but is happy to call Indiana her home since 2004. She enjoys the simple life that rural Southeast Indiana provides and especially loves the amazing people she has come to know through living there.
As a high school student, Jennifer’s passion for Natural Healing was ignited. She began with the study of Homeopathy, then Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, Flower Essences, Eastern Medicine, Applied Kinesiology, and so on. As she continued to study and to use natural remedies over the years with her personal health, as well as the health of her family, her ability to care for life’s healthcare challenges grew. Through this practical experience and continued self-directed research she expanded her confidence and knowledge sufficiently to begin teaching classes on Natural Healing to the public in the nineties.
Jennifer returned to school in 2007, attending Ivy Tech Community College to become a Registered Nurse. She graduated with honors in 2009 and has been a practicing RN since. Since graduation, Jennifer has continued her education and research, taking multiple courses in non-traditional healthcare disciplines such as Nutrition Response Testing, Total Body Modification, Healing Touch, Quantum Touch and Applied Clinical Nutrition (to name a few).
As a result of her education and experience, Jennifer currently practices as a Holistic Nurse. The individual care she offers in her practice is focused on treating each patient as a whole, taking into account the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of their lives. This perspective of health and healing has led Jennifer to become the creator of a unique modality called Body Balancing and the co-creator of Enhanced Body Balancing.
Jennifer’s education and experience has also led her to develop a series of classes on Energy Balancing. Participants in her classes learn basic principles of energy, how energy affects health and wellbeing, and techniques to promote healthy energy balance.
Whether in her treatment room, in the classroom, or in her own daily life, Jennifer is dedicated to using her wisdom and skills to help each person she meets live more balanced lives and reach their highest potential.

In 2001, at the age of 54, Jim Darling was offered early retirement from his job in the oil fields. He readily accepted the offer and used it as an opportunity to pursue the career of his dreams. He left his home in Alaska and moved to southern Washington so he could attend Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, Oregon.
Jim’s fascination with Oriental medicine began many years earlier when his family added acupuncture treatments to their health care regimen. They had such great results- such as pain-reduction, better diabetes management, less depression, and overall feelings of well-being- that he wanted to learn more. Eventually his curiosity developed into a desire to become an acupuncturist himself. He wanted to offer alternatives to medications and surgery to those who were seeking a more natural approach to healing so they could enjoy the same benefits his family had enjoyed.
Jim graduated from OCOM in 2007 with his Masters in Oriental Medicine. He practiced in Washington state for 13 years using acupuncture, cupping, trigger point release therapy, body balancing, and supplements to treat his patients. He loved being able to give them an alternative to pharmaceuticals for the pain, anxiety, and depression that many of them experienced, and loved seeing their health and well-being improve.
In the fall of 2019, Jim relocated to Batesville, Indiana to live near his daughters and join them in their practice at the Transformational Healing Center, Inc. His wisdom and skills are a great complement to their practice.

Lindsey “Linny” Jackson began her journey on the holistic path when she was a high school student at Oldenburg Academy. In the latter part of her senior year, she started to learn about the benefits of yoga, eating a whole food diet, and using herbs as medicine. Upon graduation, she got accepted into a college in Cincinnati to pursue a degree in graphic design but felt a strong pull towards learning more about native plants. Consequently, she enrolled at the North American Institute of Medical Herbalism where she learned the foundations of approaching health from a vitalist perspective. While at NAIMH, she studied Nutrition, the Materia Medica, Physiology, Anatomy, and Botany.
For the next decade, she embarked on the path of motherhood where she continued to learn about, and put into practice, using food as medicine, growing gardens, and wildcrafting herbs. She has extensive knowledge in making herbal tinctures, infusions, and other various applications using the plant kingdom. She has led native plant walks for the Women’s Friendship Circle in Friendship, IN since 2009.
In 2017, Linny began to apprentice with a sound healing facilitator who brought sound therapy to nursing homes, yoga centers, and other locations that held sound bath events. It was during this time that she came to know the profound healing effects that sound therapy can have on people.
Over the course of a few years, Linny also worked very closely with the Sisters of St. Francis in Oldenburg, Indiana. She worked in many different departments, including Michaela Farm, which provides generative, organic food for the area. While working for the Sisters, she shared sound healing with them by providing a demonstration with Tibetan Singing bowls. Linny took delight in watching the Sisters experiment with playing the different bowls and listening to the sounds that were created. They enjoyed learning about the singing bowls and wanted more explorations with sound healing. Unfortunately, this was prevented due to the pandemic.
Shortly thereafter, Linny decided to further her education in vibrational medicine by becoming certified in Foundations of Integral Sound Healing (Multi Instrument) and earning her Diploma in Integral Sound Healing (individual clients) through the Sound Healing Academy.
Linny works primarily with Tibetan Singing bowls and tuning forks, but uses other instruments as well, to help bring clients back into a place of balance and peace.
Linny has been participating in events at Transformational Healing Center since January 2022. Her sound baths have become a favorite at our self-care evenings and retreats as they provide deep relaxation and healing for those in attendance. We are excited that Linny will now be offering individual Sound Healing Sessions in addition to Group Sound Baths at our clinic.

Elizabeth received her BSN in nursing from Xavier University, where she was first introduced to Healing Touch from her professors. At this time Elizabeth was so focused on learning Nursing, little did she know how it would all come full circle for her! Elizabeth began her nursing career at The University of Cincinnati Medical Center in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. While in that unit, she became increasingly aware of how sick her patients were and how, when plagued with chronic disease, medicine is a great band-aid, but does not address the root cause of the problem.
Her passion and interest in the mind/body connection and self-healing began to grow, and she became Certified in Healing Touch over several years of study and classes. Recognizing the need for patients to relax and have empowerment during their healing process she wanted to compliment traditional medical practices and help patients connect the mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical energies within their body, allowing for a deeper healing to take place. This experience gave her a whole new perception of health. To try and further this mission, she created a Holistic committee in the hospital to unite healthcare professionals in bringing more energy healing to patients as well as addressing self-care of staff.
In 2021 Elizabeth made the decision to leave the hospital to have more time for her family and to gain more experience doing Healing Touch. She lives on the westside of Cincinnati with her husband and four children. They attempt to tame the chaos of their active family by carving out quality time and focusing on well-being with tools to help their family.

Sara has her Bachelors and Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics and works as a Holistic Dietitian and Certified Coach. She worked in Lifestyle Medicine for 6 years and Long-Term Care for 2 years. Over the years, Sara realized that being healthy goes far beyond what people eat (as important as it is!) so she expanded her knowledge base to include Yoga and Human Design, which allows her to focus on the body, mind and soul together.
Although Sara’s main focus is helping women live soul-led lives, she loves working with people of all demographics. Her desire is to help bring harmony between the bodies and minds of her clients through changing mindsets and beliefs, as well as upgrading lifestyle habits. This dual focus is a great recipe for success when working with clients on weight loss, optimizing lab work, and improving overall health.
Sara believes God perfectly designed every single one of us and that living in unison with Him, as well as for Him, is the greatest gift we can give to ourselves and to the world.

When Amy Tiare is not sky diving or walking on coals, she stays busy as a Massage Therapist taking care of her clients. The thrill of helping people heal may not provide the adrenaline rush of jumping out of an airplane, but it is equally satisfying. She loves helping people cope with pain and stress and seeing their lives transform while under her care.
Amy graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 1997 and has been a practicing Massage Therapist since. She has worked in several chiropractic clinics as well as in private practice. In November of 2020, she became an official employee of Transformational Healing Center, Inc, where she has worked as an independent contractor for over ten years.
In 2013, Amy received Self-Care Education through Capacitar International and taught Self-Care at Safe Passage, a domestic violence shelter, for four years. She continues to teach self-care techniques to church groups, to her clients, and in classroom settings. She makes a significant difference in peoples’ lives as she empowers them with powerful tools to cope with stress and trauma.
Although Amy received training in Craniosacral Therapy in massage school, it was not until 2016 that she pursued additional training and incorporated Craniosacral into her practice. Craniosacral does an amazing job of finding underlying issues that are being held in the soft tissue. It allows a person to release past traumas and injuries, making it possible to enjoy life at a deeper level.
Amy has also received training in Healing Touch, various forms of Energy Work, and Rapid Eye Technology. But beyond any technical training she has received, Amy’s true strength comes from her keen sense of intuition that adds depth and breadth to each technique she uses. She is a gifted healer and teacher and blesses the lives of each person she works with.
